The polymer was evaluated as an antioxidant and antirad in SBR mixes. The rheometric characteristics of the compounded rubber and the physico-mechanical properties of the vulcanizates were evaluated. Thermal oxidative ageing has been carried out at 90°C for up to 7 days. The rubber vulcanizates were also subjected to γ radiation from Cobalt 60.
